I had the most delicious tempura I’ve ever tasted at Tempura Ono. Every piece is crafted to maximize the natural flavors of the ingredients, allowing you to truly savor their essence. My absolute favorite was the tempura mochi with fried small shrimp. Wrapped in fragrant shiso and crispy dried seaweed, it’s meant to be eaten by hand, creating a perfect combination of textures and flavors.

We recently dined at Udatsu Sushi in Tokyo, and watching Chef Udatsu in his element was nothing short of mesmerizing. His precision, skill, and passion for his craft were incredible to witness. And the sushi? Easily some of the best in Tokyo. Every bite was perfection, but his tuna combinations? Absolutely off the charts. The flavors were so refined and balanced, it felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Beyond the food, Chef Udatsu himself was amazing—kind, engaging, and genuinely welcoming. He made us feel right at home, adding an extra layer of warmth to an already unforgettable meal. If you’re in Tokyo, do yourself a favor and book a seat at Udatsu Sushi. You won’t regret it!
