This was a very good opportunity to learn about Miso paste. The wonderful ladies guided me through the process step by step while I worked hands on to produce the miso paste. Explaining different elements and pointers as we went along. The result is I have a jar of miso paste to mature and use in the future. They also provided me with the opportunity to taste three different types of miso paste to understand the differences. And of course a miso soup to sample the end result. They also provided the opportunity to taste a range of Ama-zake – a range of rice drinks with different flavours. A very worthwhile few hours giving a deeper understanding of Japanese cooking and culture with hands on support.

My daughter's and I had so much fun making udon with Chiaki! Everything was delicious, and she was very careful with our food allergies. We are excited to try making udon at home.
