Thank you Masako for being so patient with us as we got lost on the trains and were running late. We hand kneaded wheat flour and water to make udon then put it in plastic to step on it the traditional way. It was fun for my 12yr old daughter and I. Next we made tamagoyaki which was egg and miso and water with some sugar. After we ate that we processed to fry our tempura and cooked our udon noodles. We had to place it nicely on the plate and while we enjoyed lunch Masako wrote some calligraphy for us. She gifted us some calligraphy to take home as well as a cute fan with both versions of our Japanese names on both sides. We also took away the udon and tempura we could not finish so we can enjoy it later. Definitely worth the time if u can make it down to Kita-seju area which is about 50mins away from Shibuya. Her studio is not far from the station.
