What a wonderful experience! Everything was clearly explained and conducted in a friendly and welcoming environment. It was a real learning experience, and you got to eat your handiwork when you were finished. The host explained and demonstrated everything first and then let's you do it on your own. Very authentic and highly recommended!

Noriko-san is a very kind and an awesome host! She welcomed me with a sign that her daughter made. It was soo adorable that I took a photo! At that moment I did know the experience would be great! Firstly she helped me wearing yukata and explained me all the details about it. She has soo much to share and teach that I got impressed! Later we got a photo session and it was gorgeous. And then she teach me and demonstrated about the tea ceremony and explained how to behave, to make the tea and all the steps to get through it! Soo many details but she was pretty patient and respect my struggles. We also prepared an Okonomiyaki together that was super fun! My first time making it and I got proud of myself at the end, since I don't have any cooking skills. But actually, she also prepared a huge banquet! She loves cooking and teach me about the ingredients and how to make it properly. After all these activities we also had a Koto lesson. At first she made her performance and was soo glamorous! I love it! And then she instructed me how to play it. It was pretty hard but I was enjoying a lot! All these activities were at her home and that's something that became more special! The welcoming feeling was unique. Her husband and her daughter were adorable and welcome us as she did. I'm 100% would recommend her experience to people that want to visit Japan. She brings all sorts of of activities in an unique and special way with a lot of knowledge. Thank you for hosting us, Noriko-san!

Making Nerikiri with Satoko was one of the highlights of my trip! She is so capable, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic, and is gracious enough to hold the class in her beautiful home. The class was easy to get to on the train with a short walk from the station. I learnt so much about wagashi and nerikiri making and I can’t wait to make some at home. Thank you Ogawa-san! I had a beautiful time.
