I enjoyed my time with Emi. She is friendly and patient as goes through the steps for each recipe. Emi would start by demonstrating the step and then allowing you to try it for yourself. The conversation was good too.I highly recommend this experience for any coming to Tokyo and would like a unique experience.

As three avid cooks from Australia, we all loved this experience! Emi was a wonderful host, very gracious in bringing us into her home and looking after us. She was a good teacher, but also a lovely woman to chat with about various things around Japan. While we all had attempted the foods before, it was really fun to learn a few traditional methods. Emi also gave great tips and tricks for each thing we made that you wouldn't really get anywhere else! I certainly think my next batch of Tempura or Gyoza will be better off after this class, and I'll definitely be trying to method she taught us for noodle dough (no spoilers, but very fun!). I think people of any cooking skill would get something out of this class, highly recommended!
