Great experience, and the chef is very kind delightful !

Chef was very friendly and class was easy to understand. Sushi was great!! We enjoyed it very much

My husband and I did this course as part of our honeymoon trip and we made great memories. We learnt so much and did not realise how much technique goes into cutting sashimi and making sushi! We were so lucky to have learnt from Chef Katsuji who owns 11 ramen/ sushi restaurants and is highly skilled. Chef Katsuji and his wife held the class in their beautiful home, and they were so kind and made it such a personable experience. It was also packed with value, we started off with a tea ceremony and learnt how to properly mix matcha. We then learnt to make sushi and ramen, and he even taught us how to cut some fruit and vegetable art to make our plates pretty. After we ate, Chef Katsuji wrote our names in calligraphy with a beautiful poem. He also gave us his curry product as another souvenir, which is available to purchase at airports. 10/10 would recommend - what an experience!

Wonderful experience! This was my family’s favorite activity we did the whole 10-day trip. So fun and interactive with a delish full meal for each person at the end that you made yourselves! Friendly for any level cooking experience. Couldn’t recommend more.

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Katsuji and Mayumi in April 2024, when we booked onto their sushi & ramen making class with tea ceremony. Not only did we learn so much from some of the most talented culinary artists in Japan, they made our experience all that more special when they found out that we were touring Japan for our honeymoon. This is so much more than a cooking class. This is a truly magnificent and personable experience with the best hosts in Japan! It was such a pleasure to get to know each other, exchange stories, laugh and learn over sensational food, all of which made for an unforgettable experience. Katsuji and Mayumi welcomed us into their home with open arms and we would not hesitate to do the same for them if they were ever to visit London. We will cherish our time with Katsuji and Mayumi fondly and if we ever return to Japan, we would love to see them again! As the Beatles sang "in my life" - "There are places I'll remember"....
