Make sushi at an intimate and welcoming home cooking class in Tokyo! Your host? Emi–A Tokyo local with overflowing knowledge of Japanese culinary culture and a neverending passion for delicious, nourishing food.
Meet Emi, your sushi-making instructor. Emi is a Tokyo native with a passion for Japanese cuisine. Her love for cooking began in her home kitchen and quickly developed into something more… Her purpose! Emi sought to share the culture and beauty of Japanese cuisine with others, which developed into the home cooking class you’ll be joining today.
What’s on the menu? Sushi, of course! The quintessential Japanese food. These delicious morsels of fish and rice can be found around Tokyo, but making them for yourself takes the sushi experience to even greater heights! Sushi is not just a meal; it's an art form that combines skill, precision, and creativity.
Your sushi-making escapades will begin at the train station, where Emi–your friendly host–will be waiting for you. Together, you’ll stroll over to Emi’s place where the culinary magic will begin. Once you’re apron-ed and ready, it’s time to prepare your ingredients and make some sushi. After you’ve shaped your palm-sized rice bites, plate them up and dig in! With your tummy full and a heart full of memories, bid adieu to Emi and your kitchen buddies before heading home.
