Experience Details
Sushi is a classic Japanese food beloved by people all over the world! In this experience, you will learn how to make different types of sushi, nigiri sushi, and sushi rolls.
The class begins by first learning about the different ingredients and seasonings used in sushi. You will also learn about how to make the perfect rice for your sushi and practice making your own sushi.
You’ll also learn about dashi (the broth used in miso soup). Dashi can be used for soup and other side dishes and is a fundamental part of Japanese cuisine.
In addition to learning how to make sushi, you will also make miso soup and two side dishes like Japanse omelet or sesame spinach. These easy-to-follow recipes are a great introduction to Japanese cuisine!
At the end of the class, you can participate in a sake-tasting or matcha-making experience for an additional cost. You can select either of these options when booking the experience.

Vegan and vegetarian options can be accommodated upon request at the time of booking.
Guests who request a vegan option will make vegan sushi and a vegan alternative to tamagoyaki (rolled omelet).
