More than just a tourist experience, come join friendly Yoko in her Osaka kitchen and gain deep insights into Japanese cuisine and lifestyle! Learn how to make the colorful and delicious “maki sushi” (rolled sushi) in this Osaka cooking class. After perfecting the sushi rolling technique, you’ll be able to recreate this dish at home, using simple and easy-to-find ingredients.
During this cooking class in Osaka, you’ll also make the classic miso soup (using Yoko’s homemade miso!), two side dishes, and the Japanese omelet “tamagoyaki.” Ending on a sweet note, dessert is also included.
Yoko is excited to welcome you to her kitchen in Osaka! Having hosted more than 1,200 guests since 2015, Yoko is the perfect cooking instructor to teach you the methods and techniques of Japanese cuisine. She’s a nationally licensed tour guide who has taught Japanese cooking both at home in Japan and abroad in London and Dublin. Having lived in China for 18 months, she also offers lessons in Mandarin.
