Our class includes a comprehensive lecture on a range of food-related topics, like the history of Japanese cuisine and table manners, that will help you navigate Japan’s culinary scene. Learn about the theory of Five Elements in Yin-Yang and find out all you need to know about dashi soup stock. Dashi is the base of countless dishes and plays an important role in this hands-on cooking class, so make sure to soak in all the information you can!
Ready to start cooking? Roll up your sleeves and try your hand at sushi making. This is not your average Japanese meal, though. Instead of the usual bowl of rice, here you’ll have some rolled sushi and temari sushi. The menu also includes an appetizer and a dessert that you get to savor at the end of your cooking experience. Lastly, you’ll help your instructor with tidying up and take home recipes and skills that will impress your friends and family!
