Class was good. I wish there was more hands on with preparing sushi from the start starting with rice and cutting fish. Also the class had a 2 hour slot but it was only an hour which was disappointing. Even with a decent class the instructors were extremely nice and welcoming. He had a lot of knowledge just wasn’t a 2 hour class as stated.

Chef Saisho is really interesting, he has a lot of info for you regarding the market, the products, the types of fish, he takes a tour of the entire market and also gives you tips regarding where to buy cheaper souvenirs. After this 1 hour walk, you leave to his restaurant where you learn how to make your own sushi and the fun continues. Sushi making experience is a thing that you should really consider doing while in Japan.

We loved this tour! First, we went to Tsukiji with Chef Saisho to buy the ingredients used for lunch and visited several spice and souvenir shops recommended by the chef. Then we went to his restaurant for lunch and learned how to make nigiri. It was definitely one of the most delicious experiences of our trip, we ate a variety of fresh fish and seafood!
