In this sushi-making class at Sushiya Nobu in Shibuya, Chef Minagawa welcomes sushi enthusiasts of all levels to delve into the art of sushi-making and learn from his extensive expertise. Apart from being the owner and main chef of Sushiya Nobu, Chef Minagawa draws from his experience working at a soba noodles restaurant and his vast knowledge of Japanese cuisine.
You'll start by tasting an omakase assortment of sushi pieces masterfully created by Chef Minagawa (the exact fish contents are subject to change depending on availability to ensure freshness). After an overview of sushi history and culture, you will get hands-on making sushi under the guidance of the chef. Learn to cut and assemble nigiri and roll maki, receive tips on sushi etiquette, and ask the chef all your pressing questions before enjoying your delicious sushi pieces in a delectable lunch.
