Sushi Hoshiyama
Tokyo-style sushi is done to perfection at this Michelin-starred Osaka sushiya.
Restaurant Details
Edomae sushi may belong to Tokyo, but this Osaka sushiya performs such a fantastic rendition of the style that it can challenge the best in Ginza. The owner-chef perfected his craft over 12 years of work and study in Kyoto and Tokyo. At his Michelin-starred restaurant you can enjoy an omakase set course which moves across the sushi spectrum; from white, through pink, to red-fleshed fish.
In summer, the specialty fish is awabi, with monkfish taking center stage in winter. However, no matter the season, you’ll always get a chance to try the mainstay classics, especially the centerpiece fatty tuna. Around 8 varieties of sake are on offer, chosen from some of the best breweries around the country.
