Diners at this location will delight in Mita Basara’s famous wagyu rib roast and “Tomato Sukiyaki,” a delicious sweet-umami broth simmered with tomato and thinly-sliced wagyu. This one-of-a-kind dish unites Western and Japanese flavors, perfectly pairing with wine or sake.
This sister shop also has delicious menu items that are only available here, like new-classic takikomi gohan (clay pot rice) and its own seasonal course menu. The takikomi gohan is unique to the Bettei location and features plump rice topped with rare truffles.
The chef infuses traditional kaiseki dining with Western influences like French pastry. The building’s private rooms overlook a calm Japanese garden. The space features noren, traditional paneled windows, and other classic Japanese features.
