Experience Details
These days, we’re all finding creative ways to connect online. And while you can’t come to us for a vegan cooking class in Tokyo, we can come to you -- or at least, to your computer screens! Join us for a fun, safe, and mouthwatering vegan ramen and gyoza cooking demo, where we’ll teach you all you need to know about modifying these classic Japanese dishes to suit the plant-based lifestyle.
This vegan cooking class with take place over the Zoom video conferencing application, so you can watch in real time as we whip up 2 Japanese comfort foods (something we could all use a little more of these days). An English-speaking Japanese cooking instructor will walk you through all the steps for making vegan gyoza (savory, pan-fried dumplings) and ramen, and provide recipes so you can replicate it afterwards!
Even non-vegans will love the vegan gyoza and ramen, and will not even notice the lack of animal products. The ramen has an addictingly savory umami quality, and feels just as hearty as any other bowl of ramen, but it won’t make you feel weighed down after the meal; while the gyoza is beautifully crispy on the outside with a filling that tastes fresh and light.
At the end of the Japanese cooking demonstration, we will end with a Q&A session, so you can ask all your burning questions about the vegan lifestyle in Japan, vegan-friendly Japanese foods, and Japanese cooking tips and tricks.
Join us and find out just how flavorful, wholesome, and satisfying vegan cooking can be!
