First, you’ll wear traditional cooking attire, an apron and a headscarf. You'll then watch an informational video covering Japanese cooking basics like seasoning chicken and kneading noodle dough. You’ll also choose the soup, sauce and toppings to craft a bowl to match your preference.
During the class, you’ll learn the art of ramen from scratch. From carefully folding the noodle dough over 100 times to selecting your unique blend of soup base and oils for the broth, this is a hands-on class covering all the fundamentals of this famous noodle dish. You’ll cook toppings like chashu (braised pork belly) and soft-boiled eggs and add the finishing touches to complete the dish. You'll receive a souvenir to remember this unique experience before continuing your traveling across the Mt. Fuji area.
