Fantastic experience! Our guide Brian was excellent—he's lived in Japan for years and shared so much insider perspective that really enriched the tour. It was refreshing to also explore a less polished side of Japanese society. The food was delicious - both the snacks and the dinner.

We had a wonderful experience on this tour! Kenzo was a fantastic guide taking us through the Shinsekai neighborhood and walking us through all of the different dishes and drinks of Osaka. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this tour!

After watching countless byFood videos on YouTube, we decided to book the tour with Shizuka — and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. The tour offered the perfect blend of fascinating information about Harajuku, fun activities, and a wonderful variety of delicious foods. I was always interested with doing some sort of tour in Japan but could never figure out which one to go on. The moment I found out Shizuka was hosting the Harajuku tour I immediately knew that if there was any Japan tour for me to go on that this would definitely be the one. That instinct did not steer me wrong because this was absolutely one of the most memorable moments of all my trips to Japan! Shizuka is just as kind, bubbly and endearing in all of the videos she is in, maybe even more so! I have to admit that I was nervous meeting her but her genuine personality makes everyone feel so comfortable to the point where it feels like we’ve known her forever. She is also amazing with children. There were two in our group and she engaged with them in the most cool auntie way! Shizuka really made this tour so much fun and very informative with her knowledge of Japan history. She is just so much fun to be around and If she’s still doing tours by the next time I plan a trip back to Japan you can definitely count me in! I really had thee most amazing time. This will be a memory I will cherish and hold dear in my heart forever. Arigato gozaimashita Shizuka!!
