We really enjoyed this tour! David could tell us a lot about wasabi and he is clearly very passionate about it. We were allowed to grind the wasabi ourselves and of course eat it. I would definitely recommend this tour. The area is very nice as well.

A wonderful short trip to outskirt of Tokyo to experience a rare chance to understand wasabi farming. David was well organised and well prepared to show us various aspects of real wasabi growth and shared his experience. Pairing real wasabi with roast beef was good taste. Will recommend others to give this a go. The surrounding at Kawai station was very scenic with added colour in autumn. But, do prepare to climb up the hill behind the station.

Excellent experience with David; a warm and engaging personality delighted with his passion of raising the one true wasabi! :-) I hope many others can enjoy his enthusiastic account of picking up roots, moving to Japan and participating in the quickly disappearing art of raising quality wasabi. A thoroughly wonderful experience all around.

David is an absolute wasabi guru and was very generous in sharing his knowledge of not only wasabi but the area too. I learnt and experienced everything I had hoped for from this tour, and some more. Thoroughly enjoyable and fascinating experience highly recommend.

David was a super knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and fun host. We were really happy we had a chance to see real wasabi plants and try real wasabi fresh out of the creek.
