This was one of the best cooking classes I have ever done! The class takes place in a home kitchen and our interpreter met us at the station and walked us to our class. Everything was provided for us and the ingredients and methods were explained and demonstrated before we got hands on with gyoza and ramen making. You also get a sheet to take home so you don’t need to remember the recipes. Making matcha tea was a nice touch. Our hosts also took us on a short tour of a local temple after the class. I highly recommended this experience.

It was such a lovely experience, we learned so much about these delicious Japanese sweets: how to prepare them and also what part do they play in Japan's culture. Yuko was a lovely host: so nice and friendly. She made us feel right at home and we loved chatting with her and learning about her life and her profession.
