Say goodbye to the days of flat and predictable soft drinks! In this tea mixology workshop, you’ll combine flavors and ingredients to make two unique and colorful tea mocktails (with matcha and hojicha tea). To pair with your drinks, you’ll also make equally striking traditional sweets: monaka (thin mochi wafers filled with sweet bean paste), isobe mochi and strawberry daifuku. Get ready to enjoy a vibrant tea time with your English-speaking host, and take home the recipes to continue mixing drinks!
Itinerary:
-Arrive at the venue and meet your host, Emi!
-Make wagashi sweets (monaka, strawberry daifuku and isobe mochi)
-Now, time for mixing. You'll make two colorful mocktail tea drinks (black, herbal, and green tea-based).
-Sip your kawaii tea creations and enjoy your homemade sweets.
-Take home recipes and ingredients to make one more tea mocktail
Your host, Emi, is a tea connoisseur and former flight attendant who became interested in all things herbal while raising her daughters. She decided to pursue tea studies and developed a specialty tea design company. She is a certified Tea Instructor from the Japan Tea Association, a Herbal Therapist from the Japan Medical Herbs Association, and a Lupicia Certified World Tea Meister. Emi combines her love for tea and knowledge of herbal properties with a passion for colors and aesthetics, which inspires her to create mesmerizing tea designs.
