Restaurant Details
Hiroshima is a city that’s serious about sushi. Well, to be fair, that statement is true for almost every city in Japan — but particularly so for Hiroshima. This coastal city is home to a host of high-end sushi restaurants, and Sushidokoro Hitoshi is one of the best among them.
Both lunch and dinner offer a fantastic range of dishes, with a pure sushi set, or one with assorted seafood dishes to choose from. All of their fish is sourced from port markets in Tsushima and Hakata. The rice is seasoned with black and white vinegar for a deep and complex taste.
They also have a range of Japanese sake to choose from, at reasonable prices. You can ask for it “hiya” style (served at room temperature in a chilled glass) or “atsukan” style (heated to 50 degrees Celsius).
