Sazanka
A teppanyaki restaurant atop The Okura Hotel, offering stunning views and elegant cuisine that is as much a feast for the eyes as it is the stomach.
Restaurant Details
Okura’s top-floor dining space, the incredibly exclusive Sazanka offers excellent course menus for lunch and dinner that feature Japan’s best seafood and wagyu beef. And what wagyu it is; delicacies like tiger prawn, crab and abalone grace the restaurant’s grills, but Sazanka’s crown jewel is its original branded “Okura beef”, chosen specifically from a small, carefully-controlled herd of Tajima cattle specially bred in Shimane Prefecture’s Matsunaga Ranch.
Diners can choose their preferred cut and portion of steak — up to a hefty 300 grams of melt-in-your-mouth beef sirloin — followed up with Japanese staples like pickles and miso soup. Seafood medleys, excellent Kobe beef courses, and seasonal offerings ensure every diner will find something delicious to enjoy at this top-of-the-line (and top-of-the-world) teppanyaki restaurant.
Teppanyaki flat-top style grills seat parties of up to seven, giving guests a close look at every slice and sear before it makes its way to their plate, making for an especially personal and fresh dining experience. Bottle service and wine by the glass are available, as well as optional private rooms for an additional fee.
