Location
Satoburi DA is the most chill and welcoming little store under the umbrella of Tokyo’s top yakiniku brand.
Restaurant Details
This small shop in Asagaya is the fourth outlet of the popular Sato Briand yakiniku chain — probably the most highly-regarded name for grilled Japanese beef.
Unlike the larger outlets elsewhere in the city, this place only has three tables, meaning a higher level of service and intimacy can be enjoyed. This warm and welcoming atmosphere is represented in the name, with the D and A standing for the names of the owner’s wife and son.
The menu is the same at the main branch, meaning an omakase course of mouthwatering high-grade wagyu beef, with priority placed on the premium chateaubriand cut, prepared in a variety of ways, including cutlet sandwiches and steak.
Although a meal at any of the chateaubriand specialist shops under the Sato Briand brand is a treat, Satoburi DA offers a much more private and personal experience than its sister can ever hope to match.
