An Italian restaurant with a focus on fine flame-grilled cooking and a Michelin-starred history.

Restaurant Details

One for the meat lovers, this Italian restaurant specializes in chargrilled dishes like beef steaks and juicy cuts of pork. Regalo is located very near Sangubashi Station, on the northwest side of Yoyogi Park, so it’s easily accessible from any of the major downtown stations.

The space, like the food, is contemporary but comfortable, with lively counter seats or more private tables available. This is the hearthside cooking of rural Italy, with premium meats backed up by fresh hand-cut pasta.

The ingredients change with the seasons, so it’s impossible to predict exactly what will be on the menu on any given day. Alongside the heavy meat dishes you’ll also find some more delicate, complex additions such as foie gras gratin with truffle butter eggs

At lunchtime, all of this can be ordered a la carte, making this one of the most affordable Michelin-starred Italian restaurants in Tokyo. You’ll get your dishes for such a good price that it justifies splashing out a little on one of the 300 varieties of Italian wine kept in their cellar!
