Privacy is king at this delectable yakiniku restaurant, where every table has its own room and diners feast upon fresh wagyu.

Restaurant Details

Style meets comfort at this popular yakiniku restaurant nestled in Tenri, where every dining table is pitted in its own private room for an A5-grade wagyu beef feast without interruption. Warm lighting and clean interiors set the stylish ambiance, and meals exude an air of exclusivity as all seating is private.

It’s Nikusho Geihinkan’s personal ranch that distinguishes it from other yakiniku establishments, and most of the meat served is from their very own cows of Yamato beef. Only one cow is brought in at a time, in order to track the health of the cattle from the breeding stage to the butchering one. The restaurant’s meat master, with over 30 years of experience, is only satisfied with the best and is also in charge of carefully procuring meat from around Japan. He selects exclusively healthy female cows with A5 BMS — the highest grade given to meat. This ensures that all the red meat served is flavorful and tender, with beautiful marbling.

As the restaurant only cuts the meat after receiving an order, diners are presented with fresh and enticing meat choices that range from standard cuts to rare ones. Wagyu beef offal (horumon) is also offered, a rarity in Nara.
