Man-u
A high class oden restaurant where you can experience the very best that the style can be.
Restaurant Details
First off, the name is a little misleading. This is not a sports bar dedicated to Manchester’s Red Devils, it’s actually a restaurant specializing in oden: a kind of rich Japanese stew filled with every kind of ingredient you can imagine.
While you can get oden at any number of places, Man-u is no standard store. This is a higher-class experience, with some unusual ingredients. Think mochi oden, and even whale! Of course, you can also enjoy all of the classics: tofu, daikon radish, pork, and so on.
The broth here is Kansai style — richer in flavor than the Kanto variety. Both a la carte and omakase ordering is possible, but for the full experience you’re better going with the latter. That way you can just sit back, and let the chef curate the best oden experience of your life.
