Calvador
Spoil yourself with the finest collection of calvados in Japan, if not the world.
Restaurant Details
As the name suggests, Calvador is the ultimate one-stop bar for all kinds of French apple brandy. No liquor aficionados should skip out on a chance to drink here.
Some bottles date back to the 19th century, each and every one of them exhibiting vibrant apple and pear notes, improved immeasurably by time. With over 300 premium bottles making up the calvados collection here, they may well possess the world’s biggest. Calling the owner Hiroyuki Takayama a French brandy expert is an understatement. He will be on hand to explain the history and flavor notes of each sample served here.
While the main focus of this cozy, intimate bar is the calvados, Calvador has a pretty solid non-calvados drink menu too. Stirring amazing cocktails and putting on a show while at it, Takayama can satisfy the taste buds of any connoisseur.
