Most French restaurants in Tokyo are on the higher end of the formality scale and often prohibitively expensive. Artichaut in Ebisu is here to cater to the mainstream with an affordable range of French cuisine. This restaurant offers courses of different price ranges, with being less than half the price of the average high-class French restaurant without compromising on quality.


Each course has the option of opening with a mix of organic Kamakura vegetables to ease into the varied flavors of other dishes. The omakase course offered also includes game meat dishes on top of everything else that's offered in other courses; it's definitely recommended to try some rare meat prepared using French culinary techniques.


While it is a small restaurant with simple decor and limited seating, Artichaut does not disappoint with its intricate dishes.
