The Hikari set introduces seven individual brands of colorful and fragrant aged sake. (1997 Jyosen Kikuzakari / Kikuzakari brewery) 15% alcohol by volume. Smoky flavor characterized by its clean acidity, aroma of caramel and almonds, and spreading sweetness of tropical fruit. (1998 Satonoizumi / Aizu brewery) 19% alcohol by volume. Mellow black tea and gentle hazelnuts mark the nose of this well balanced sake with a long finish. (2009 Maboroshi no taki / Mikunihare brewery) 18% alcohol by volume. An impressive nutty scent rises from this aged sake, whose first impression of refreshing acid is cut by the mellowness of butter and banana. (2001 Tenon / Kawajiri brewery) 20% alcohol by volume. Complex and profound, notes of vanilla, burned matches, chestnut and banana can all be enjoyed. (2009 Hanagaki / Nanbu brewery) 17% alcohol by volume.
