Discover the world of sumo, Japan’s national sport, less than 30 minutes from central Tokyo!
Get up close to the action and take a seat at Yokozuna Tonkatsu Dosukoi Tanaka, a restaurant with a dohyo (sumo wrestling ring). Fill up on Chanko Nabe and Tonkatsu while former sumo wrestlers battle it out in front of you. You’ll learn about the history of sumo, the daily lives of wrestlers, techniques, and ways of the sport.
Once you’ve fuelled up on sumo wrestlers' fare, it’s your chance to enter the ring! Get suited up and square off with a former sumo wrestler. After you’ve battled it out, pose for some commemorative pictures and engage in a special Q&A with your sumo wrestling hosts.
