Your journey begins at one of the city’s many izakaya (a cross between a bar and a restaurant that serves drinks and small dishes.) Izakaya often have an expansive menu, and with so many options to choose from, it may feel overwhelming, especially when everything is written in Japanese.
During this tour, though, there’s no need to worry because you have an ace up your sleeve. Get recommendations from your expert guide based on your preferences to experience local favorites and delicious dishes like tempura, takoyaki, yakitori and more. Chat with your host about the local culture and nightlife while washing your food down with drinks ranging from beer to highball and Japanese sake.
