Asakusa is steeped in Japanese history and tradition, in more ways than one! Learn all about Asakusa through a 2-hour, in-depth tour that takes travelers to several important spots, and gain insight into each one along the way.


During the tour, you'll get to sample some classic Asakusa street food snacks, like melon pan, dango, and rice crackers.


Tokyo’s traditional district also boasts an impressive selection of well-made cooking utensils, especially knives, which are widely popular among Japanese restaurants. Look through Kappabashi Street’s numerous stores selling everything cooking necessities, a haven for amateur and professional chefs!


There are several shops that specialize in kitchen knives, and it can get quite difficult to choose which to go to for the best quality kitchen knife. With the support of the tour guide and going directly to the right stores, travelers are sure to find the right kitchen knife that suits their kitchen without the fuss!

Very knowledgeable about the famous buildings and the shrine's history. Took me to some very nice knife shops with English speaking staff.
