The owner-chef honed his traditional culinary skills in Tokyo before returning to his hometown to open up his own restaurant and present his unique take on traditional kaiseki cuisine.
Full attention to detail is given at every step of the process at Tokimune. The Japanese flower arrangement has a prominent spot in the restaurant and tableware from Akita, Oribe, and Karatsu are used.
Not to mention the dedication to seasonal ingredients — everything from Fukuoka-sourced vegetables to seafood from the Genkai Sea.
