Tamura Ginkatsu-tei was established in 1973. It is located in Hakone, and offers dishes made with the finest ingredients. They use 100% rice bran oil for frying, and mackerel flakes are used in the dashi (soup stock) to give it a deep flavor.
The simmered tofu cutlet is recommended at Tamura Ginkatsu-tei, consisting of tofu sandwiched between juicy minced Japanese pork, which is deep-fried and then simmered in a clay pot. It took a lot of trial and error to come up with its current form. The sweetness of the green onions and onions combined with the broth from the mackerel flakes is very popular.
This Hakone restaurant has a calm exterior with a traditional Japanese look and couches are available for customers waiting outside. You could also enjoy your meal in the relaxing atmosphere of the tatami room to experience the traditional Japanese seats.
