Sushi Iwa is a long-established sushi restaurant located only a minute’s walk from Tsukiji Station. The interior atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxing but gives a feeling of high quality. The chefs will prepare top-grade Edo-style sushi with their traditional technique that is inherited from the Taisho era of Japan. Here, you can see the chefs are creating nigiri that looks like a work of art.
The course meal is available from ¥10,000, but for a more casual experience, the lunchtime nigiri set meal is available at an affordable ¥1,900. They are open throughout lunchtime, so you can visit and enjoy sushi after sightseeing and shopping. The takeout menu is also available. They have a wide variety of side dishes and drinks including Japanese sake, beer, whiskey, wine, and shochu.
