Restaurant Details
“Shiawase no Pancake” (happy pancake in Japanese) is popular among Japanese and foodie travelers from around the world. Starting your day with the fluffy pancakes is sure to make you feel happy.
Each plate has three pancakes, but you will finish them in no time. They are very light, like an eating a cloud. The pancakes are made of fresh and natural ingredients and cooked slowly for around 20 minutes per pancake.
Other than the standard pancakes, there are 8 kinds of flavors. At the Kyoto shop, there are also 2 kinds of Kyoto limited pancakes. One of them is a roasted green tea tiramisu flavor with mascarpone cheese cream while the other is an organic matcha pancake with red bean butter. You can enjoy them with brown sugar syrup.
In addition to sweet pancakes, savory is also available, using whole-wheat flour. You can choose from omelet options as well, including mushroom cheese omelet, bacon with scrambled eggs, or salmon with avocado and cream cheese.
Booking in advance is highly recommended. Shiawase no Pancake is open from 11 am and closes at 8 pm on weekdays, at 8:30 pm on weekends.
