———

Get your fill of sukiyaki — a Japanese beef dish that’s served in a shallow pot containing soy sauce, sugar and mirin — at one of the first-ever restaurants in Japan to start selling beef.

Opened in 1879, Ishibashi is well-respected as the best sukiyaki restaurant in all of Tokyo, and no other restaurants can even come close to the quality Ishibashi serves. In private tatami rooms, guests are served only kuroge wagyu black beef sirloin: one of the best cuts for shimofuri (the marbling patterns of the fine fat lines).

Using a well-guarded recipe for sukiyaki sauce passed down through the generation, the course meals offered by Ishibashi is nothing short of the finest sukiyaki experience you could ever have.
