Hiyama
A premium Japanese hotpot restaurant with private rooms, personal cooks, and a Michelin star (Michelin Guide 2020).
Restaurant Details
Hiyama was opened by a butcher shop in 1935 as a place to serve the best quality meat that came through their store. In fact, the shop is still in business next door, so after enjoying a fantastic beef meal, you can grab some to take home too.
The style the restaurant specializes in is sukiyaki hotpot, with beef and vegetables cooked in a simmering pot of sweet and savory sauce. They use delicious, fatty wagyu beef with an incredible level of marbling throughout. Everything is cooked for you in a private dining room, with either tatami or table seating to choose from.
