Aquarium Dining Ryuduki
Teppanyaki
The energy is moody and romantic at this aquarium-themed Kinshicho lounge that ties together a trio of Italian, teppanyaki and sushi.
Restaurant Details
The scene is set from when you step in: a wooden walkway framed by lush greenery and a suspended slatted wood ceiling guides you to three dining spaces. The biggest aquarium installed in a restaurant bathes the room in a blue glow, with the soothing sound of a waterfall and intimate, curved sofa seating with high backs wafts the air in romance. In another corner, a sultry, medieval-themed space and the warm glow of a fireplace become a cozy nook. Then there are the 11 resort-style private rooms decked with marble tables and charcoal-grey tones.
Located in Kinshicho, Aquarium Dining Ryuduki has some seriously good looks and better food. There's always a risk when a restaurant tries to do too much, but Aquarium Dining Ryuduki isn't trying — it's excelling. The flavors are bold, and the menu balances Italian, teppanyaki and sushi offerings. While it may sound too good to be true or even gimmicky, the restaurant delivers on its promises with finesse, thanks to the expertise and support of its sister establishments.
There’s Toyosu-sourced tuna pressed on the bed of red-vinegared rice from Ryuduki Sushi, or authentic carbonara with guancale and grilled Hokkaido scallops with salsa sauce from the Italian stalwart REGINA. Tender-grilled A5-grade Yukifuri Wagyu from Yamagata Prefecture and spiny lobster, seared on a teppanyaki iron grill, are kudos to Ryuduki Teppan. The Rossini, a domestic beef fillet draped in a Madeira wine-based sauce, or the herb-roasted sea bream is not to be missed.
The menu is anchored by its impressive 100 cocktails and wine varieties, including a section devoted to Moet & Chandon and shochu. Bring a date for a moody evening.
※ Aquarium Dining Ryuduki is located in the same building as its sister restaurants, Ryuduki Teppan, Ryuduki Sushi and REGINA.
