Paint and sip classes have taken the world by storm, providing adults with a chance to reconnect with their artistic side amidst their everyday lives. The Japanese version of this global sensation was established in 2016 by a group of creatives who sought to provide a space for busy Tokyoites to unwind, socialize, and have fun. Hosted by friendly instructors who will guide you every step of the way (in English or Japanese), there’s no need to fret if you haven't picked up a paintbrush in a while. This interactive experience welcomes artists of all skill levels–from notebook doodlers and coloring book enthusiasts to master painters and skilled illustrators.
Your experience takes place in a painting studio on Harajuku’s iconic Cat Street, making it a great activity before or after you embark on some shopping and exploration. What will you be splashing across your canvas, you ask? The artwork rotates each class, but will always feature a Japanese theme!
This experience is a fun and relaxing way to learn, be creative, socialize, and pay homage to Japan's artistic heritage. As you put brush to canvas, enjoy a glass of wine, sangria, or sparkling wine cocktails. There will also be non-alcoholic beverages (green tea, water, juice) and light snacks on offer.
