Uosho
Enjoy nigiri sushi made with seasonal fish from the Seto Inland Sea at Uosho, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Okayama!
Restaurant Details
Uosho was awarded one star by the MICHELIN GUIDE OKAYAMA 2021. Mr. Hiroshi Yamamoto, the eldest son of the second-generation owner, inherited the restaurant from his father in 2019, keeping the essence of the restaurant's taste and techniques.
In addition to anago and tamagoyaki (specialties at Uosho), the main ingredients are seasonal fish and seafood from the Seto Inland Sea, such as octopus from Shimotsui, sea bream, and red clams. The "Omakase Nigiri'' lunch (from 6,600 yen) includes an assortment of sashimi and 15 or 16 nigiri.
The restaurant is attracting attention as a place where customers who are new to high-end restaurants can feel the true pleasure of sushi. Why not visit Uosho when you visit Okayama?

Shunsai Hayato
Cuisine fit for a king. Near the Korakuen Gardens, this Okayama restaurant keeps the cuisine of the feudal lords of fine otonosama-ryori alive. Feast on fresh sashimi and Chiya beef, a wagyu cattle so rare it bears the title of “phantom wagyu”.
Udatsu Sushi
Chef Udatsu Hisashi makes an unorthodox combination of herbs and sushi at his Michelin-starred Nakameguro restaurant. Designed around the theme of “art x sushi”, every piece of nigiri and maki look just as good as they taste.
Shibuya Sushiki
To Chef Takumi Marui, nothing is more important than freshness. He cuts no corners in sourcing his fish, even controlling the precise humidity and temperature to ensure that it’s as fresh as possible when sculpting perfect Edomae nigiri.
Sushi Tokyo Ten Shinjuku NEWoMan
An omakase sushi masterclass just outside JR Shinjuku Station, in one of the area's most popular malls.
