Restaurant Details
Serving ramen to the people of Tokyo for over three decades, going on four, this ramen-ya has quite the group of customers who are loyal to their wontonmen. Tantantei is not only a noodle restaurant but also an institution that has trained various masters in the art of wontonmen.
Even though there are numerous dishes available, they're all made of one classic shoyu-based soup. This especially delicious soup is made of a vast array of ingredients, including but not limited to saba, shiitake, konbu, niboshi, pork, chicken, oxtail, and dried shrimp.
Safe to say that the classic shoyu wontonmen is a hit with the customers, but there's also a menu item that has both in a ramen bowl, called the "mixed wontonmen" which includes both meat-filled wonton and shrimp-filled wonton in a bowl.
