Kasumichou Yamagami
An authentic kaiseki hideaway in downtown Tokyo — enjoy authentic traditional Japanese dining.
Restaurant Details
You’ll find this Michelin-starred restaurant hidden away near the center of Nishizazabu. Although it might take a few extra minutes to locate, it’s well worth this minor trouble.
This building was home to a different restaurant for many years, and although the owner has changed, many of the regulars remained. That’s because the same high-quality kaiseki dining standards continued to be upheld at the small corner counter.
The format is very traditional kaiseki, following the historic procedures of dish order and cooking styles. Around ten seasonal dishes feature in the omakase meal, including fantastic seafood delicacies such as the fan-favorite sea urchin with steamed rice.
