Ginza Kappou Ukai Nikusho
A mature and contemporary niku-kappo restaurant, where you can appreciate the skill and craftsmanship in creating fine Japanese cuisine.
Restaurant Details
Formerly just Ginza Kappou Ukai, this Ginza kappo restaurant has since pivoted to become a specialist in niku-kappo, a style of kappo cuisine that highlights the different ways in which fine wagyu beef can be used.
Located in the heart of Ginza, the spiritual home of Tokyo’s sophisticated gourmet culture, the Nikusho incarnation continues to offer up a fusion of Japanese and Western. The counter here is a theatre of fine culinary talent. Wagyu beef is offered in various set-course menus, and accompanied by a wide range of sake, wines, and champagnes.
The setting is a contemporary take on the sukiya tea house interior design of Kyoto — a modern space with atmospheric lighting, and slate gray plaster walls. Serving up seasonal dishes cooked to best represent the region from which the beef came, Ginza Kappou Ukai Nikusho is a perfect place to get acquainted with the texture, flavor and marbling of some of the nation's finest wagyu, right in the heart of Tokyo.
