Amazing experience and a must when in Kyoto. Aya opened her house to our family and allowed to experience first hand a beautiful tradition. Make sure you spend time to select and bring back home a hand crafted and unique tea cup.

The tea ceremony was great! We learned a lot, had some great sweets and delicious tea!

We really wanted to do a tea ceremony in a more intimate setting and Aya exceeded our expectations. It was very interesting to learn some background knowledge and the tea room itself with the cute little garden was so pretty. If you are in Kyoto, I can recommend it 100%. We had the best time, our tea ceremony instructor was very kind and explained the tea ceremony in detail and allowed us to do our own mancha. Our kids had a great time.
