Learnt a lot about the local area from Marcel, and definitely visited places we wouldn’t have found on our own. Nice group of British and Australians. We did spend quite a long time waiting in the cold for people to buy drinks and go to the bathroom constantly- hard to know if this is avoidable. Also a little pricey, but generally would recommend this tour.

I had the chance to have the Harajuku Sweets & Street Food Tour With Shizuka and all I can say that it was an amazing experience. The whole tour felt so fun and insightful as we visited different places and got to experience different things too. Shizuka as a guide was nothing less than excellent and wonderful, her knowledge about the area as well as the places we visited felt personal and unique. The best part would be how friendly she was and her personality really brings the tour to the next level. Would absolutely recommend the tour to anyone.

My boys (ages 7 and 11), my husband, and I loved the tour of Harajuku so much! Shizuka is an wonderful guide who planned an amazing tour of fun activities and incredible food. She is incredibly engaging, personable, and easy to talk to, making every moment feel relaxed and enjoyable. The history Shizuka shared of Harajuku and Tokyo was great; my husband and I found it fascinating to hear how much the city has changed over time. All the food stops were fantastic, filled with delicious dishes that we enjoyed eating and/or had fun making (dinner). We highly recommend a tour with Shizuka; this was a top highlight of our Tokyo trip!
