It is also the home of Hiroshima’s business district. Crisscrossed by six tram lines, the area is convenient to traverse and easy to explore by foot. With the aquamarine waters of the Hiroshima Bay just to the south, downtown Hiroshima is the perfect place to enjoy some succulent oysters, high-quality Japanese sake, and Hiroshima-yaki (Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki).
