Eager to share a taste of Hokkaido's incredible natural bounty, Ian and Noriko designed this unique experience combining cooking, communing with nature, and feasting on delicious Hokkaido dishes in their farm cooking studio.


Itinerary:

-Your host will pick you up from a nearby location, or you can go to the venue directly.


-Upon arrival at the farm, enjoy welcome refreshments and an original non-alcoholic drink.


-Enjoy a guided walk around the farm grounds and learn the history of the area as you bask in the natural surroundings.


-Return to the farm and get cooking! You’ll transform top-quality seasonal Hokkaido ingredients into a delicious multi-course meal.


-Sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labor as you feast on your home-cooked meal.


Sample menu (exact contents subject to change depending on seasonality and availability):


-Seasonal seafood rice bowl (sea urchin, scallops, crab, etc.)

-Seasonal soup (scallop chowder or pumpkin soup)

-Premium meat roast (meat, pork, chicken, or venison) with seasonal vegetables

-Dessert and coffee or tea (alcoholic beverages are not included but are available for purchase separately)

  • Your host can pick you up from the JR Datemombetsu Station or your hotel in the Toyako Onsen area. Alternatively, you can go by car to the farm near Lake Toya in Date City, Hokkaido. More detailed information and a Google Maps link will be provided upon booking.

Remarks

  • Pick up service from the JR Datemonbetsu Sta. or hotels in Toyako Onsen is subject to availability. You can also go to the venue by car. Please contact your host to make arrangements upon booking.

  • Please note that the minimum drinking age in Japan is 20 years old.

  • If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please specify so at the time of booking.
