Join Imi, a passionate Japanese cooking class instructor, for a healthy bento box-making experience in Tokyo. You’ll learn about Japanese ingredients, healthy foods, cooking techniques, tools, and secrets. Your bento box will include about 10 dishes using ingredients you can find in your home supermarket.
This class also includes a lesson in decorative bento box presentation. Colors, shapes and sizes — you need to consider all of these to design a beautiful bento box. You can get creative with what you put in your box. When you’re done, snap a photo to share with your friends and dig in.
This isn’t your standard bento-making class; the lessons can help you create beautiful lunch boxes with everyday dishes. Also get some insights about how bento boxes reflect how Japanese people think about nutrition and health. These mindsets can be applied to any cuisine and will help you prepare lunch boxes more mindfully for yourself and your loved ones.
