Yakiniku Bou-ya Nishi-Nippori Main Branch
A restaurant that buys the entire wagyu cow to ensure the best quality meat with chefs creating a beef platter of the most incredible cuts, tastes and textures.
Restaurant Details
Two decades of craftsmanship is inherited by Bou-ya’s branch in the west of Nippori, the yakiniku restaurant’s flagship store that promises diners premium meat at affordable prices. It’s conveniently located a stone’s throw from Nishi-Nippori Station, seeming right at home among trackside streets.
But despite its traditional wooden exteriors, inside Bou-ya is an energetic atmosphere of yakiniku (Japanese barbeque) served with a twist. Not only does Bou-ya source high-quality wagyu beef to serve customers, but it also purchases each cow in its entirety. One of the first yakiniku restaurants in Japan to procure entire animals, Bou-ya is able to guarantee top-ranked A5 black Japanese beef, demonstrating the extensive skills of its chefs in preparing the meat.
Bou-ya’s specialty beef platter is an intricate course menu with a variety of popular and rare cuts of meat only made possible by purchasing the entire cow. The chefs expertly highlight the many different delicious flavors and textures of beef as well as serving side dishes and drinks to compliment the meat.
Customers can also rest easy that its meat is properly treated by uberly delicious homemade sauces and classic condiments of wasabi and soy sauce. In fact, when the platter arrives, the store has specific suggestions for each type of meat. There is rock salt and wasabi for a pure, unadulterated taste, a tangy "tare" with grated daikon for a zesty kick and a quintessentially Japanese option. Their signature homemade reimen closes the meal.
Despite its impressive menu, Bou-ya’s ambiance remains welcoming, with the ability to host events of up to 72 guests.
Yakiniku Bou-ya invites diners to indulge in a premium tasting course of 10 premium A5 wagyu cuts, freshly sourced daily. Indulge in tender fillets and rare, delicately sliced beef tongue, paired with original sauces and carefully crafted sides.
